information and explore related topics. Hotspots are identified by a marker such as a dotted rectangle.
When viewers interact with hotspots, they can view an informative note and access links to more information,
related videos, or a relevant contextual ad.

After signing up for a SpotOn account, you specify whether you want Asterpix to automatically index your entire
site's video content or a specified set of videos. Using a combination of video, text, and link analysis,
Asterpix scans each video to find the most salient objects and creates interactive hotspots on them.
Hotspots track the objects even as they move around and carry relevant text, links, related videos and contextual
ads.
How hotspots are created:
- a) Asterpix indexes a video on your site.
- b) Asterpix ranks all the objects in the video in order of the attention they receive from the camera.
- c) Asterpix clusters the text around the video such as the title, description and tags into topics, then ranks the topics in order of importance.
- d) Next, the top ranked topic is associated with the top ranked object, the second ranked topic with the second ranked object and so on.
- e) Asterpix assigns links relevant to the associated topic for each object and retrieves a relevant ad.
You earn money whenever a user on your site clicks on one of the hotspot ads. You can also earn money on a CPM (cost per thousand impressions) basis
